Selfishness vs. Compassion

 

            As a fellow human being of this cruel world we will be and always will be equal no matter how we acted. Everyone is deserved to be treated with love and respect. In today society not all people treat other people they would like to be treated. Compassion and selfishness play a big role in modern day activities. Treat people like you would like to be treated in return.
             As a child many of us have the words drilled in our head "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say nothing at all." The quote represents that compassionate people are often taken advantage of niceness. Being to nice to people can be arduous on a person. The person is being a stepping stone for everyone that they are nice or caring about. Classmates of compassionate people remember the person who cares for everyone and everything no matter how badly they treated them. The one compassionate person may never get anything in return for the generosity they gave to a person.
             "Take the selfishness out of this world and there would be more happiness than we should know what to do with. -- H. W. Shaw." Shaw had a great point in his quote, but not all of it is true. He talks about being happier without the selfish ones, but what many other people might think. Selfishness despite its negatives and offensive association is a part of everyday human decision making. With the world today selfishness is a major bribery which many people have a problem with. There can be many positive and negative consequences. Unlike getting stepped on like a stepping stones like compassion people do selfishness is the person who is stepping on the compassionate person. With the selfish person you don't get walked on, stepped on, taking advantage of. Selfish person often gets talk about and couldn't be trusted. .
             We should all be respectful told all human kind no matter how a person act, relays on other, and how you treated each other. We are all equal in society no one is different unless they we brought up thinking they were.
