Biography Michael Moore

 

            
             Michael Moore, an Irish-American, was born on April 23rd, 1954 in Flint (in the State of),Michigan.
            
             Moore is known as an author of a number of bestsellers, a producer and director of a number of provocative documentaries that are unapologetic attacks on callous business corporations and practices and on social wrongdoings.
             He is an all-around genius.

             Moore was elected as the youngest member ever, in the history of the USA, to the Davison Board of Education, at the age of 18 years.
             .
             At the age of 22, he started "The Flint Voice", a very well known and rather alternative daily newspaper of which he was editor-in-chief of for ten years.
             .
             In 1989, he produced and directed the prize-winning documentary "Roger & Me". This documentary is the most frequented documentary film of all times, was voted the best documentary by more than 100 critics. It showed what terrible consequences followed after General Motors made masses of people in the automobile factories in Flint redundant.

             In the mid 1990s' he worked as a producer, author, director and moderator for the TV-series "TV-Nation" which won the Emmy (Award).

             In 1997, he produced the documentary "The Big One" which causes the internationally known company "NIKE- to stop their child labor in their factories in Indonesia.
             .
             His latest political humoresque "Stupid White Man." has been on the bestseller lists for weeks and months.
             .
             On November 21st, 2002, "Bowling for Columbine" was published.
             .
             Bowling for Columbine is the second most frequented documentary of all times. Moore's style has become cult. He has further developed his provocative, daring and entertaining style.
             Today his newest Book "Dude, where's my Country?- is on the Top of the New York Times Bestseller List. (One week after publishing).
