Injuries Due to walking

In today's generations many things have changed, which have made our lives supposedly more convenient and accommodating for the busy schedules of our everyday lives. Many stores, banks, pharmacy's and many other locations all have a drive through. These moderations in our lives have made it easier for many people to grow to be obese, have problems with cholesterol, and even high blood pressure due to the lack of exercise people incorporate in their lives.
It is very hard for many people to incorporate an exercise regimen in their schedules. Most people are to busy, to tired, or to overwhelmed to think of exercising. Yet this is should be one of the most important engagements we should plan on our schedules. This does not mean that you have to go to the gym for a few hours everyday or even buy expensive equipment that will collect dust in our homes. The easiest non-expensive exercise that can be a daily ritual in our lives is walking. Walking is a great form of cardiovascular activity and it works a lot of muscles in our body that would not be used as a rule. Best of all there are no specific techniques to learn we have known how to do this for years. Many doctors recommend this activity to their patients especially ones recovering from heart problems.
While walking can be enjoyable, relaxing and rewarding, there can be injuries caused by this exercise. In all probability one of the most common injuries is chafing. Chafing is caused by sweating and can be located on the inner thighs from rubbing together. It can also occur in the groin area, armpits and nipples; these are the most common areas of sweat and friction from clothing. When your perspiration dries it causes small salt crystals to form which increases friction. Obesity can also be a cause of friction, your thighs rub together continually when walking and this may increase friction in certain areas. .
The best way to prevent chafing is to stay hydrated so that you can sweat freely forming fewer crystals.
