Finally my birthday I don't think I could of waited any longer. I was sixteen years old one of the best years in a teenager's life. It was time to go get my driver's licence. I passed my test it was time for me to be on the open road by myself. My hands have never been so sweaty because of all the freedom I have. I am operating a automobile for the first time by myself and it is one of the best feelings ever.
According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, "autobile" is defined as a usually four-wheeled automotive vehicle designed for passenger transportation. An automobile to me is basically transportation, but also has alot of sentimental value behind it too. My whole life i wasn't aloud to do that much. My parents always had a close eye on everything i was doing at anytime. The day I was able to drive I could have been compared to a convict getting out after a 16 year sentence. There was no other way to describe the feeling rather then just pure amazement. .
I think a person can express themselves alot just by there automobile and how it looks. People all over the globe have different automobiles small to big, slow to fast and all shapes and sizes. Without automobiles in society it would cut off the main source of transportation. If a person's rich or rather poor there is an automobile out there for everybody.
I think that just like an other privilege operating an automobile can be abused. Alot of people have abused driving throughout the years. Drinking and driving is one thing I really can't stand. People are granted this right to drive a car then they go ahead a mess it up by drinking alcohol. I think people just can't be happy with having a great privilege without any worries. Another way to abuse driving an automobile is by not listening to the rules of the road, by not doing this a lot of inocent people can be injured.
Driving a Automobile is one of my favorite things to do at anytime of the day.
