            The word complain, is defined in the Webster's unabridged dictionary as; to express grief, pain, uneasiness, censure, resentment or dissatisfaction; find fault. However the dictionary definition does not express the affect of complaints on the people who make them or the people they are made to.
             When a person complains they are expressing their lack of knowledge and understanding for the problem they are faced with. Voicing complaints is a way of iterating the need for help, in an informal manner. Some link the informality of the question and the nature of the person who said it. People who are self-centered have trouble voicing the problems with a situation because of their fear for inferiority. IT seems that the feeling of inferiority and self-centeredness go hand and hand. .
             Complaining is like a .
             However if a person who does not know the problem is forced to fix it, there must be a willingness to learn how. Without the willingness a person will not learn how to fix the problem, therefore leaving them right where they started. Without the knowledge of how to fix the problem there is only one thing left to do; complain. Complain, and hope some one around gets tired of hearing the complaints and offers some advice. Complaining is a bad way to ask for help. It is just as easy to ask a person, "would you please help me." However the self centered person must be in control, so that inferiority is not felt. Thus these type of people do not like to surrender their dignity so they complain. Asking a person for help or insight is the best way to fix a problem.
             Knowledge is what separates people who complain from others. People who don't complain spend the time they would have spent complaining on building knowledge concerning the problem. Complaints are a form of wasting time. The time spent complaining is the also the time that a person who doesn't complain would utilize to become informed.
