How does love change the lives of Romeo and Juliet?.
Before Romeo and Juliet met and became two star-crossed lovers, they were both two very different people. Romeo, son of Montague was a peaceful and non-violent young man. At the beginning of the play there is a fight between the Montague and Capulet. Romeo was not present; instead he was sitting by the beach alone. Daydreaming of his loved one, Rosaline. He was madly in love and had no interest to fight " yet tell me not, for I have heard it all, here's much to do with hate, but more with love- was Romeos reply to the fight, which went on. Romeo was always lost in love and this was normal for him as he was a true romantic. Romeo had no interest in fighting; he simply didn't care or want to here about it. All he cared for was love and sometimes it was hard for Mercutio to relate to him although they were very close friends. Romeo tended to block out what was happening around him, and I suppose it made it difficult for him to bond with his family. But he was very close to his cousin Benvolio. Romeo was a daydreamer with love constantly on his mind.
Juliet, daughter of Capulet was a responsible and clever girl. Who although may of only been 14 years of age, was a very mature girl and beyond her years. Her family was not very close to her and her mother was very involved in her own life, rather than Juliet's. Her father wanted Juliet to stay a child and to obey him. Juliet had a very close and trusting relationship with her nurse, who was more of a mother to Juliet. She confided in her nurse and loved her a lot. When Juliet found out she might have to marry Paris, she fought of it as "an honor that I dream not of- but she agreed to meet him and consider to love him. Juliet's father felt that she was too young " my child is yet a stranger in the world, she hath not seen the change of fourteen years; let two more summers wither in their pride, ere we may think her ripe to be a bride-.
