My Son Cameron's Essay about Australia

I was born in America, but my mom was born in Australia and tries to take us home every 2-3 years so we can know what she loved growing up. All my family comes from there and we are proud of our nationality. My mothers" side of the family consists of my grandparents, 3 uncles and 2 aunts. My three uncles are uncle James, and his wife Sarah, uncle Stephen, and his wife Susan, and uncle Chris (he's single). My aunts are Aunt Fran, and her husband Kevin, and aunt Creena, and her husband Collin. My family originated from Ireland and Scotland, we used to think we were only Scottish, but we found out we weren't because there was a glitch in the Family Tree and we found out that we were also Irish. I have many cousins, too many to remember. But my favorite cousin is Jessie, Uncle James and Aunt Sarah's son. I like him the best because we are the closest in age and relate better to each other. .
My trip started here In Newport. I went up to Boston and stayed at an airport hotel for the night. We woke up at 4:30 in the morning to go to the actual airport. We left the Airport at about 7:00 and got to Newark, New Jersey at about 10:00 then from Newark we flew all the way to Dubai, United Arab Emirates for a stop over of 2 hours. From Dubai we flew to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and stayed there for a 12-hour stop over so we slept at the hotel. We woke up at about 6:00 in the morning to get our plane and we were in Australia at about 12:00. We got our rental car and drove all the way to my Nan and Pops house. .
They were not there so we waited until about 10:00 at night when they finally came home. They had no idea that we were coming, so it was a complete surprise. We stayed at their house for about 2 days and then drove 6 hours all the way to Kalbarri. We stayed there for 6 days, we drove back down form Kalbarri to my Nan and Pops but stayed only for about an hour, the went down to Dunsburough, we stayed there for the rest of the trip.
