             It is a play, novel, or other narrative depicting serious and important events, in which the main character comes to an unhappy end. .
             Tragedy applies to countless areas of our lives and lives forever in classic literature.
             Through its correlation with man in the past, present and future I will derive a subjective definition as you continue to read.
             Tragedy is a unique type of drama.
             It is joined by comedy, farce, satire, serious drama, and melodrama.
             However, it can be broken down into Greek, Shakespearian, and modern tragedy.
             Tragedy is furthest from comedy, which is marked by the opposite of everything a tragedy includes, such as demise and disgrace.
             A good example of tragedy can be found in one of Macbeth's lines right before he is crowned king of Scotland,The wine of life is drawn, and the mere lees is left this vault to brag of.?.
             These are the words of a bitter, doomed man and not of a potential king.
             We all know tragedy is a type of play or drama, but it also applies to our personal lives.
             Hopefully only part of our lives has been a tragedy, but there are others whose lives are filled with nothing else. .
             We might feel that once one thing goes horribly wrong that everything else will go wrong too.

             It is in our literature, such as Beowulf, Macbeth, and Paradise Lost.
             It is a part of our world. Immeasurable amounts of people are starving all over the globe, and other epidemics leave numerous people hopeless.
             Minor tragedy is a part of everyone's life, including yours and mine.
             Tragedy is essential to the balance of good and evil.
             Without it, life would unrealistically be heaven like and full of comedy.
             The termtragedy? is definitely more than a play.
