             Reigning out of Omaha, Nebraska, Andy Roddick has become a well-known face in the world of professional tennis. .
             Andrew Stephen Roddick was born on August 30, 1982. He's 6"2, 190 lbs, and a right-handed player.
             At the age of 4, Roddick started playing tennis. His older brother, John, was an All-American tennis player for the University of Georgia. .
             By the age of 10, Roddick was signed on a junior tennis program with Reebok.
             Throughout high school, Roddick was on the varsity basketball team, along with future doubles partner, Mardy Fisher. Later on, after partnering with Fisher, Roddick defeated him for the Siebel Open in 2003.
             In 2000, at the age of 18, Roddick finished as the youngest player ranked in the top 200, internationally. And with one of the best serves around, at 120 mph, Roddick finished number one in the world for junior tennis players. .
             In 2003, Roddick also became the US Open champion after defeating Spanish tennis player Juan Carlos Ferrero. According to an interview right after the match, with the BBC network, he said, "I"m in disbelief right now.".
             Roddick was featured in People Magazine as the sexiest athlete alive in September of 2003. He has also appeared on the special 10 year anniversary of Saturday Night Live. .
             Roddick currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida.
             Besides being a successful tennis player, Roddick is also into giving back to the community, which is why he has his own charity organization. Not too long ago, he held a fundraiser, the third annual Andy Roddick Charity Tennis Weekend, which raised over $300,000 for children. .
             This organization helps kids reach success in academics and athletics. And recently, he hosted a kid's clinic in Central Park in New York, along with Dave Mathew's Band and famous violinist Lloyd Tinsley. .
