Aileen Wuonos is consider to be the first female serial killer who in Florida killed eight men. She was a lesbian and prostitute in the Daytona beach area. In 1999 while at a bar in Daytona beach Florida she was arrested for the murders. She was turned in by her ex lover who was not charged. After she was arrested she was befriended by a woman who later adopted her as her daughter. After being convicted at her first trial and sentenced to death she got this nutty lawyer who thinks he can sing. A big surprise to him is he couldn't carry a note in a bucket. At the second trial her new adopted mother and attorney convinced her to plea guilty. At her sentencing she was sentenced to death again. For the rest of her trial she did the same thing of pleading guilty and sentenced to death on all cases. She got to meet "Old Sparky" in 2001. .

To answer the first question of, was she insane? Maybe slightly but she knew she was going to kill someone when she left to work the streets. Her adopted mother was probably insane or very smart. Due to the fact of adopting a serial killer. She either thought she could help or that she could profit from it. On the day she hired the lunatic lawyer she was either insane or just didn't care anymore. He's not right in the head the way he acts. He tries to sing and can't he tries to be a lawyer and he can't. .
             .
The second question of was she a profiteer of misery. Probably not due to the fact that the only thing she might buy is a decent funeral after her execution.
