University of Mary vs. NDSU

I have reached the point in my life where I have to start making decisions about my future. One of these decisions is what college/university I should attend. I am currently considering two universities: The University of Mary and North Dakota State University. Many factors will influence my decision: the campus of the university, the majors offered, the athletic/extra curricular activities, and the total cost of attending. I am reviewing the following information in an attempt to help myself with this major decision. .
The University of Mary is located in Bismarck, North Dakota. It is a privately operated college with a Roman Catholic Church affiliation. The campus encompasses 175 acres including student housing. Sports facilities include an outdoor track/football stadium, along with baseball, softball, and tennis areas. Also there are many indoor basketball courts, an indoor track, and a gym area. .

The University of Mary offers both two and four year degrees. The option of earning a double degree is also available. I am considering studying engineering and business, both of which are offered by the University of Mary. The double degree that I am considering consists of taking four years of schooling in Bismarck and then one year at the University of Minnesota. This program will earn me a math/science degree and a degree in engineering. .

The University of Mary has an excellent track program. The coach has won many awards on the national level. The University offers football team, which has been in the national playoff games in the last couple of years. Also there are many intramural sports to choose from, such as badminton and volleyball. Many scholarships are given away each year. I hope to earn a scholarship for track and maybe football.
Considering that the university is privately owned, the cost is relatively inexpensive. The cost per semester for the 2002-2003 school year was $9,200 for both in state and out of state students.
