Persuassive Essay

Are we, as a society, more or less strict regarding the values and codes of morality compared to the life and times of Henry VIII. There are many examples that you would be able to tell about both sides of the story. You would be able to say we are more or less strict. I believe that the answer to this question should be that they are less or the same as in the times of Henry VIII. .
One of the great arguments that I could argue would have to be the act of Polygamy. This is not a very good thing regarding the values of life and the codes of morality. For one reason you are not being faithful to one person and you are not teaching you children good morals for life. In order to be trustworthy to people you must in a way be very faithful to them.
Another argument that you would be able to involve in this discussion would have to be that most people around the World do not act the same. People have been bought in so many types of Religions, Ethnic Backgrounds and Social Backgrounds that you can not really judge the person, do to the fact of them being brought into the World differently from you. So even if you think it's wrong, they might think it's right, and for that reason were not as strict to the society.
Of all the reasons and arguments in the world that you could possibly give, I believe that there is one that will top all of them off. The argument of Bill Clinton. What he did was wrong and everybody in the World knows it. He was the President of the United States of America, one of the most respected nations in the World. He did something that was completely wrong, but for some reason nothing happened to him. That just proved that we as a society are the same or less strict when it comes to values and codes of morality in Henry VIII. .
By the reasons that I have stated you are able to understand that we are the same or less strict than the times of Henry VIII. I hope that you understand the reasons that I have given you.
