Gossip

People gossip in many different places and in many different ways. When you are a teenager and in high school is when you get the hang of how to gossip. For example, if something bad happens to you, or to someone that you know, you can bet that the entire class will know about it in no time flat. Girls, especially high school girls, are the biggest gossips. They gossip about everything and anything, like other girls, guys, and even what people did the night before. People of all ages love to gossip, because it makes them feel better about themselves.
It seems like the older you get the more gossip goes on. For instance, gossip goes on a lot in the work place. Co-workers tend tom gossip about other co-workers or even their bosses. They might talk about the clothes they are wearing, the mood they were in or even with whom they are friendly. This isn't right, people should not do this because they might be saying things that aren't true and someone could hurt.
Eventually, when people stop working and retire they don't stop gossiping. Many times you"ll see groups of women or men and even couples out to lunch or dinner and they will be talking about other people they know. The fact that they are talking about someone behind his back means they are gossiping. Even in movies, they show people in old age homes gossiping. They"ll be talking about which nurse is mean or nice, which doctor is worthless, or which doctor has brains. So no matter if you"re young or old, in school or retired, peoples favorite pass time is gossiping.
