Leonardo Da Vinci and Pablo Piccasso

My essay shall be based upon two magnificent artists who used the human form in most of their art pieces; these artists have become quite exquisite in their painting styles and life.
One a very famous man not only seen as an Artist but also a Universal Genius of the 16th century, his skills of applying tone and shadow to a painting was unmatched by no other and he excelled greatly In the study of the human body.
             Leonardo Da Vinci.
The second artist is more from a modern timeframe, before he died he had created a stunning 22,000 pieces of artworks in many different types of mediums. He was and still is highly respected among the art community for his unique style of painting and how he expressed his feelings and social comments through his pictures.
             Pablo Picasso.
             LEONARDO DA VINCI.
Leonardo Da Vinci, (Leonardo, as he is almost always called) was one of the greatest painters of the Italian Renaissance. But he has also been defined as one of the most boldest & versatile geniuses in history.
The divine art of painting was just one of a mass of activities that absorbed him. His interests and achievements also travelled into an astonishing variety of fields that are usually considered scientifically specialised. Leonardo studied anatomy, astronomy, botany and geology, and he designed machines and drew plans for hundreds of inventions.
Leonardo recorded his scientific observations and ideas for inventions in notebooks. Many of the ideas and designs Leonardo preserved in his notebooks were far ahead of their time.
For example, he was one of the first to draw plans for the first flying machine and a parachute, he also stated that the sun did not move at all, that it was the earth that moved around the sun. Though scientists of his day believed in the exact opposite. By the time Leonardo's scientific and technical investigations became widely known, other people had already come up with the same ideas.
