             "Arizona State University (ASU) is internationally known for its more than 100 high quality academic and research offered ." (ASU.Edu.). This is because almost 50,000 students attend ASU from over 120 countries. Also, this institution creates new cutting edge knowledge in numerous areas. ASU has countless amounts of major programs in various subjects (Choices). For admission, roughly 13,600 people are admitted out of 17,000. If a student is planning on attending ASU, they must consider the admission requirements, the sports programs, and the campus life.
             If a student is considering attending Arizona State University that student must look into and see if he/she meets the academic requirements. The admission requirements for ASU are very similar to any other four year college. "A student must meet one of the following: Be in the top Quarter of their class; Score a 22 on ACT or a 1040 on SAT; or have a 3.0 G.P.A." (Arizona State University). They must also pass certain classes including four years of math and English. These requirements are high, but not as .

             Another good area for a student to look into before selecting a university is their athletic program. "ASU has won 30 national championships since 1990," (ASU.Edu). Although, none of those were in wrestling. In fact, ASU's last and only wrestling championship was in 1988. But, "Coming off its first top-10 national finish in five years-(Jeff Metcalf 33). In 2001, they placed ninth in nationals with three All-Americans. Now, in the 2002 season Arizona State is ranked 8th and has all three of their All-Americans back according to Ron Good of Amateur Wrestling News. Each year they have been working their way up the ladder and hopefully will become a prestigious wrestling school someday.
