Wicca

 

             Wicca is a religion that has been around for centuries. There are many different types of Wicca, but all have the same background when it comes to religion. Wiccans are said to be a cult that worships the Devil. There is one Goddess that changes form depending on the moon. Wicca is an old religion that represents all that is evil, and their members worship a Horned God and Triple Goddess.
             The word Wicca means twisted, bent, or warped. Wicca claims to be a back to nature religion that worships the sky and Earth. Wiccans believe in the Three-Fold Law of Return. This law states that whatever you dish out you receive back three times more. Witchcraft tells us An It Harm None, Do What Ye Will. Wiccans say that they do not perform evil magick nor do they worship the Devil or Satan, which is the anti-God of the Christians.
             Gerald B. Gardner and Aleister Crowley are the two most influential men of all times in the Wiccan Religion. Gardner is labeled the father of Wicca. All the religions of Wicca of today are modifications of the Gardnerian Wicca. Gardner set the stage for Wicca today. Crowley supposedly helped create the Gardnerian rituals, which are still used today.
             The Book of Shadows our Witches Bible or Rule and Law Book. It is said to have originated in the sixteenth century. In the Book of Shadows there are rituals, spells, and ceremonial binding spells. The Book of Shadows also recommends the use of drugs in it.
             The Wiccans worship a Horned God. Although Wiccans deny that this Horned God that they speak of is the Devil. Wiccans call him the Dark Lord of Death the Darker aspects Cernunnos or Lucifer. Satan's original name is Lucifer, the Light-Bearer. Satan can also appear as an Angel of Light.
             Wiccans also have the opposite sex to worship; they address her as the Mother Goddess. She is one Goddess with many names. She goes through changes depending on the phase of the moon. The Virgin Goddess (Waxing Moon) represents a pubescent girl.
