Going to the Movies Vs Renting

 

            
             One reason I prefer going to a movie theater is that it is definitely more peaceful than watching a film at home, and it's a good reason to get out of the house. Every time my girlfriend and I want to watch a movie, something always goes wrong. For example, the other night we rented a video. We got ready and sat down to watch the movie then the phone rang. It was one of those annoying telemarketers that would drive people crazy and agitated. After I had the phone conversation we started the movie. When we were about thirty minutes into the movie my friend stopped by. So I invited him in and he had asked us "Were you guys busy?" what am I going to say besides no? It's great that he came over but it was the wrong. He's a good friend of mine. But sometimes I just need to be alone with my girlfriend. So about 2 hours later he finally went home. So by this time we were too tired to watch the movie and called it a night. So my girlfriend agrees for now on when we want to watch a movie we will go out and see one. People spend more money but they also gain a more peaceful, relaxing atmosphere with no distraction. It's good to get out of the house every once in a while, anyway. It is a proven fact that people that spend most of their time at home become sick.
