Scarlet Pimpernel (Fantasy)

As we last recall, a battle between Chauvlan's men and Percy's men occurred during an ambush inside the castle. Chauvlan had taken Margaruitte and quietly escaped before anyone could realize that they were gone. Sir Percy was devastated that his wife had been kidnapped and vowed to have revenge on Chauvlan. Chauvlan returned to Paris with Margaruitte where his men could safely guard him. .
At this point in time, no one had any idea that Sir Percy was the Scarlet Pimpernel except for his own men. The people only thought that Armand and Percy were his associates. Without knowing this, Chauvlan called out to the Scarlet Pimpernel with a challenge to a dual. The dual was to be a jousting event, which would be held in the arena in Rouen, France. The Scarlet Pimpernel responded to Chauvlan's challenge with a note that agreed to the dual, but only on his terms. His terms were very simple in that if Chauvlan won he would get the Dauphin, as well as Margaruitte. The other circumstance was that if the Scarlet Pimpernel won that he would get Margaruitte and that there would be an end to the revolution in France. .
The word was spread all through France of where and when the event was to be held. The Rouen City Council had signed a contract with several bands to perform, including ACDC, Aerosmith, and Guns "N Roses to name a few. When the day arrived, the arena was filled with spectators waiting to see a great battle between Chauvlan and the Scarlet Pimpernel. Of course everyone wanted to be there just in case, for some reason, the Scarlet Pimpernel revealed his true identity. The stage was set, and the introductions were only minutes away. On one side of the arena sat Chauvlan's men along with Margaruitte by their side. On the other sat Sir Andrew, Armand, Baron Debatts and of course, the Dauphin.
The festivities had turned out to be a spectacular event leading up to the battle with the bands performing in an all-out concert.
