            When many people visualize tradition, they think of something that's been handed down from one generation to another. Others may envision tradition as the handing down of information, beliefs, and customs. Tradition plays a major part in life. Everyone believes in different mythology. There are many types of traditions in society today. .
             The word tradition comes from the Middle French and Latin Americans. Tradition was first appeared in the 14th Century. A tradition is inherited from ancestors or parents. Tradition is established and is customary pattern of thought. Tradition is a religious practice or a social custom. Tradition is the handing down of information, beliefs, and customs from one generation to another. .
             There are various types of tradition. Christmas is a holiday and a tradition. Christmas is the time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Some people don't believe or celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. On the other hand, people have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas and don't even know what Christmas stands for. It stands for the honor of Jesus Christ. The actual season of Jesus" birth is to be thought of in the spring. December 25th was chosen as the official birthday celebration of Jesus Christ. Veterans Day is another tradition. On Veterans Day, we recognize the Veterans for fighting for our country. The United States designated November 11 as Veterans Day to honor veterans of all U.S. wars. Some people are ungrateful and they don't even appreciate what others did .
             for our country. Independence Day, is when we celebrate our independence over Britain. Most of the people in our society don't even know the true meaning of Independence Day. People believe it's just a time to party and shoot fireworks in the sky. Every July fourth, American have a holiday from work. They get together and celebrate the independence. Some states or cities have parades and celebrate with picnics in the community.
