After a long drive we reached a spot where there were plenty of restaurant and motels to stay overnight . We spent the night in one of the motels to get some sleep because we knew that the next day we had to do a lot of traveling and mostly on foot. After having plenty of sleep and a nice nourished meal, we started our journey again . We got to a point in 2 hours from where no jeep could advance further, as there were no developed roads. We took horses from there which was the only mean of transport . The path on which the horses were crawling was so narrow that sometimes one leg of the horse was in the air pointing towards thousands of feet down into the valley which scared us to death. Finally we got to a spot from which even horses couldn't go forward so we had to go on foot.
After walking for half an hour probably we got to the place which I had only seen in pictures and in my dreams. Lake saif-ul-malooq , the worlds most beautiful and miraculous place I've ever seen . I couldn't even describe the beauty of that place in words. The lake was so cold that if we put a finger in it, no doubt it would freeze. The changing colors of the lake made it even more worth seeing. There was a snow ride on one side and we had to climb a bit and then sit on a rubber seat and slide down , I didn't have that fun even in ridding the fastest roller coaster as much fun I had in that ride . The serenity of the atmosphere and the charismatic effect of that site compelled us to decide to camp overnight . But according to Locals, it was very dangerous and unadvisable to stay there for the night as there were plenty of wild animals and specially deadly snakes . Moreover , there were rumors among the people about the presence of spirits and ghosts in the area. We didn't pay attention to any of these things and went on to set our camp. It was starting to get dark and all the people had left the place accept we four.
