Describing The Carnival

I remember my first trip school picnic to the amusement park as clear as it were yesterday. I remember how everything went together as if it were meant to be that way like a dream. From the colorful concession stand near the park entrance to the colossal Ferris wheel in the distance, the amusement park was a string of attractions. .
As I entered the very lively park, the aroma of cotton candy and popcorn was so very heavy in the air I could taste it. Roaming around the park looking for a thrilling roller coaster, I could hear the excited screams of children, food vendors shouting, and the music from the booths of the games of chance. Tripping over the power cables lain across the pathways, I could barely maintain my balance. Finally reaching the most thrilling roller coaster in the park, I noticed the line was long and twisted, so I decided to keep walking and found a place to nourish myself. I ordered most nutritious thing the park offered which was cheese fries and a Coke. Sitting down with my food in front of me, I could not help but notice the fries were smothered with yellow, creamy, cheddar cheese, the coke, in a sweaty cup was ice cold. After my feast, I continued on my journey in search of the next most thrilling roller coaster in the park.
Being in the amusement park felt like time had stopped and anything outside the park did not exist. I wish I could relive that day of my very first school picnic I had ever been on everyday of my short life. Everything felt as if it went together like it was a dream that day.
