God For Us All

Is God the God of Jews only? Is he not God of Gentiles too? Yes, .

Indeed when Gentiles who do not have the law do by nature things .
required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they .
did not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law .
are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and.
their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them. (Rom. 2:14-15).
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor .
gave thanks to him but their thinking became futile and their foolish .
hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became .
fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to .
look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. (Rom.1: 21-23).
In the light of the above passages of scripture, I propose to discuss and contrast, some of the facts that show that the gentiles had the requirements of the law (of God) written on their hearts, with the written law of God given to the Jews as spelt in the Old Testament and parts of the New testament. The contrast will focus mainly on the Black Africans particularly the Bantu of western and southern parts of Africa. I want to refer to some of the religious values, beliefs and practices that derive from the religious systems of non-Christian Africa. I will submit their worldview of God and various ways they approach(ed) him in general, and show the similarities that exist(ed) with the written law of God.
However there is a vast amount of facts to this issue and there is a little written about it; therefore I will carefully pick a few of the religious values, beliefs and practices that drive the point better. Since I have been born and brought up African taste of personal experience and understanding is inevitable. Enjoy your reading.
             Belief in God.
Throughout the Old Testament, especially beginning with the time that Abraham was called by God, God has been revealing himself to the People of the world.
