"The quality of life is of a lower standard in 3rd world cou

It is evident that the quality of life of women in developing countries is of a dramatically lower standard than those of the First World. USA and Australia, for example, are First World countries compared to Africa and South Asia, which are developing nations. Studies show that a low GNP, poor health care, low literacy rate, low economy and gender racism prove this. Hundreds of thousands of women's lives end in their teens, twenties and thirties, in ways that set them apart from the normal run of human experience. Heavy workloads, sexual expectations and the insulating layers of censorship and embarrassment these women endure help to enforce the uncontrollable amount of pain and suffering they experience. .
Poor health care can significantly affect the quality of life. It plays a large part of women's lives in developing countries, so much so that 600,000 women die every year because it. Different causes of the deaths include Haemorrhaging, which takes the lives of about 200,000 women per year, 75,000 die from brain and kidney damage; while obstructed labour takes the lives of 40,000 women. A chronic weakness, known as Sheehan's syndrome, takes the lives of approximately 100,000 women while another 100,000 die of Sepsis each year, an infection caused by a poisoned bloodstream from an unhealed uterus or from retained pieces of placenta. .
These health problems are worsened by the lack of medicine, or hospitals available. Teenagers may get pregnant before their bodies have fully matured, and the lack of knowledge and health care for pregnant women is so low that the pregnancy may produce other infections or diseases. The majority of these women do not wish to have children, but commit to their husband's orders in the fear of being bashed, murdered or thrown out of the home if they do not comply. Having no other choice, they are once again abused in dark silence. .
Women of developing nations have a high rate of illiteracy.
