The Genesis Account Of Creation Vs. The Darwinian Theory Of Evolution

The topic of Creation, the origin of the world, has been debated for centuries and remains one of the most controversial topics of all time. Throughout the centuries, scientists and theologians have had contradicting theories as to how the world was created. Scientists assert a rational and logical theory based on natural and physical evidence for their theories of creation. The most prominent of those theories is Darwin's Theory of Evolution. There are many today, who believe that the Theory of Evolution is accurate. However, theologians propound the Genesis Account of Creation, which is based on the theological ideology of the Judo-Christian Bible. There are many who believe in the Genesis Account of Creation. The Genesis Account of Creation is more plausible than the evidence presented in support of the Darwinian Theory of Evolution.
The Darwinian Theory of Evolution is the most widely accepted theory on creation by society. Generations of scientists rely upon the theory as a fact upon which they base other theories. Darwin's theory is based on an unpredictable and natural process of descent with genetic modification that is affected by natural selection, chance, historical contingencies and changing environment (Zimmer 32). The Theory of Evolution broadly describes how animal and plant species grow, develop, and change over time. Scientists believe that life forms that are present today, have evolved over billions of years. Recently, different species of animals have been observed as continuing to evolve, in both the lab and the field. Evolution is driven by the process of natural selection, which adds to the complexity of this theory.
One of the major aspects of Darwin's Theory of Evolution is the process of natural selection. Darwin asserts that natural selection is the primary mechanism that drives evolutionary change in organisms. The selection is purely automatic or spontaneous, without plan or design.
