            Are Parents an Influence on Drug usage?.
             Drug use and teenagers has been an on going problem that still remains in society today. In the advertisement sponsored by A Drug Free America Association, the question asked is "At 4:00 where will my kid be?" The problem that the advertisement is addressing is the need to reduce the use of drugs among children and teenagers. Therefore, the question at stake is; Does parental questioning really help to reduce drug usage among children and teens? .
             The claim that the ad was making is that if parents question their children more, then they"re more likely not to use drugs in the future. The claim is supported by the advertisement whenever it states, "it's a proven way to steer kids clear of drug.".The audience that the ad targets are, the parents of society and how they don't won't there kid to do drugs. The ad appeals to its audience because the drug use among the youth is an unresolved social problem. The beliefs of society are that if parents question there children then they won't be as curious to try drugs. Therefore, the society desires that parents interact more with there children trying to help solve the drug problem.
             The effects that the ad is trying to produce is to get parents to interact and talk more with their children about drug use and the consequences that follow. Parents have the biggest influence on children, especially when the child is of a younger age. I feel the .
             advertisement will help parents to know that all children are curious about drugs or have at least one friend that is. Drug problems not only exist in society, but also in schools. .

             The advertisement makes it very obvious who the ad targets and who the audience is. I think the advertisement brings up a logical solution to the drug problem that still exists in society today.
