Wag The Dog

            In the movie Wag the Dog it could be true in many different circumstances. In my opinion I think it was a remake of the true story that had to do with ex president Bill Clinton on the case with Monica Lewinski but some how flipped it around. What the two people did I think really goes on the media tells us things everyday but that does not mean it is true. I think the media gives us information that we want to hear or maybe not want to hear as long as it will benefit someone. Just like in the movie wag the dog when the man said something like everything is like a made up story you have producers, directors, and people that go along with what is going on. I think the media has done what was done in the movie many times to captivate the public's mind to get them away from the real picture and have the public focused on something else.
             This movie related to the Kosovo conflict has many relations. The similarities would be that they both had to do with some sort of Albanian terrorist. In the Kosovo conflict it talks about how it was made up and that was the case with the movie wag the dog. IN the Kosovo conflict it also talks about how the "cows coming home" that was the same with the "old shoe" so the both had many similarities between the both. In some ways Wag the Dog can be fictional the way it can be fictional would be that with the people they put in it for example the girl that had the cat and she was running for her life. The people told her not to tell anyone and it was on her contract but that does not mean she still would not tell anyone. In the movie Wag the Dog they made it seem as if what ever was said stays a secret in reality we have private investigators all over waiting for something like that to happen. An other example would be with the convict that was the so called "war hero" there are so many reporters that can look up his back round and find out who he really is.
