Alcohol is commonly used in celebrating events such as parties, pubs, eating out at restaurants, sporting events or perhaps a reunion. Unfortunately, it is also the common excuse explaining why a person becomes aggressive and behave like uncivilized beings. .

It's a person's responsibility to not allow them self to become heavily intoxicated by alcohol. If an intoxicated alcoholic commits any offence then strictly he/she will be accommodating a night behind bars or perhaps more serious if the offence is severe.
To get this critical issue across drinkers" head isn't as simple as some may think. It's the addiction to alcohol. The need for alcohol is like a daily routine. For example, it's a common Australian custom to lie down on the couch watching TV and consuming alcohol simultaneously.              According to statistics, In NSW, alcohol contributes to 20 deaths and 100 hospital treatments a week. Domestic violence occupies more than half of police time and general assaults have doubled since 1990, as such crimes were claimed to be caused from intoxication of alcohol. Over 200,000 NSW citizens are physically abused per year and approximately 700,000 are put in fear. .
Even though liquor is part of the Australian customs but people needs to be more aware and be responsible for the amount they consume. Laws are currently becoming tightened and drinkers need to be aware of the consequences that they may suffer if they abuse it. .
