The Most Courageous Thing

" The Most Courageous Thing I've Ever Done" .
One day through the ruff edges of the street I could perceive a sound of shattering rain that was about to initiate. I was under my own steam towards the marketplace to buy some groceries that my mom had send me to go purchase. That day it started to rain so hard that windows of cars could of probably even shatter down in an instant. .
Having to purchase a lot of groceries that day, I decided to take my little brother to help me with the grocery bags that were left on the other side of the lane. The rain kept hammering down real hard, it actually felt like little glaciers of ice striking on the summit of my head. Once my brother went down to help me, in a very dawdling passe he crossed the street. Without me knowing that he was moving towards the other side.
When I turned my back towards him, a reaction really sturdy came over me. My heart started pounding quicker, I could hear it pulsing really hasty to the rate where I could almost listen to it. My brother was crossing the street with a vehicle approaching towards his way, I didn't know what to do or how to react. I started to panic, I sprinted as fast as I could from the split second I turned around I had the most horrible feeling I could of ever gotten.
The automobile that was going towards my brother it seemed to be going in a slow movement in my mind's eye. I scampered as fast as I could ever run and yet still managed to get my little brother out of an catastrophe, when I sprinted towards my brother the car stopped stantaneously and hit the brakes and they rattled really horrendously.
Since that day my brother seems to look at me as he's hero and someone he looks up to and I am just delighted he is there to consider me in that way. That is the most courageous thing I have ever done, because if I would of not been there in an instance, actually two people would of been dead, and I think that for me is still upsets me up to this point thinking of the circumstances that we would of faced with a tragedy that would of been, but thankfully did not.
