If this were a fiction, what changes would you make to the story?.
I think that Bruchko was a pretty good book considering it was a true story of a man's life. The point of book would originally not interest me but it was actually a not bad book for a true story. It had some points in the book where it really interested me, and some points that really didn't. There were also times where I myself would have given up but then again, I"m not in South America. But that's not the reason I"m talking about this book. If this book was fiction, I think there could be a few improvements. First of all, I think the whole beginning is good. It isn't as exciting as the middle or the end but he had to get the book started somehow. I thought that he could have made the book a little more understandable though. Sometimes I would be reading and I would see a name like Abaratura and I would see it and get confused be because I didn't know if it meant something or if it was the name of someone. Another thing is that a fiction book usually leaves you on the edge of your seat, or making you want to keep reading until you find out what happens next. I don't think that this book did that exactly. It just makes it more interesting and easier to read as a student or outside of school. If it was changed the names should probably change because it is difficult to read these 15 letter names. But some parts like when he finds a $10 bill at the airport is a good example of something that would make you think that the book was fiction anyways because it was a miracle, even though it actually did happen, some people can believe that it was also fiction. I would also change where the story was located. Though a jungle in South America is a neat location, I would move it to a place where the people reading the book would normally know nothing about so that when they are reading the book, they are also learning about the location in the book too.
