Testimony

A father and son went on a camping trip. When they arrived at the site, the father said to the son that he could go fishing as long as he stayed on the dock. He related that ferocious crocodiles were in the river. The son agreed that he would stay on the dock. After three days of fishing on that dock, the son began to think about going into the midst of those crocodiles in the safety of a boat. He thought of the excitement, the challenge of such a venture. So, that is what he did. He got hold of a boat, and in a sense of bravado, rowed out into the river. He had only been fishing for a short time when a crocodile hit the small boat sideways with its tail and the terrified boy was thrown into the water. The father heard a scream, saw what happened and, without hesitation dived into that crocodile-infested water. He swam out to his son and dragged the panic-strickened boy to the shore. As they both lay there, the boy opened his eyes to a horrifying sight. His father was only semi-conscious, and covered in blood. While they were swimming to shore, a crocodile had mauled his father, tearing his flesh leaving him half dead! Now the following thought is unthinkable but imagine if the son looked at his torn, bloodsoaked father, and said, "dad, I really appreciate what you just did for me but. you wouldn't know where I could get another boat would you. I found that quite exciting. If that son could think, let alone say such a thing the poor blind fool hasn't seen the sacrifice of his father! No anyone with a sense of right and an interpretation of Ray Comforts "Militant evangeleism"wrong would cry :Oh my father!. What a fool I have been. I despised your word, yet. such love.father forgive me.forgive me! In the same sense God the father sent his son Jesus to suffer and die for our sin yet he was perfect. The fathers love gave us Jesus the perfect sacrifice for our sin. If you have lied once or stolen anything you're a lying thief.
