By definition, a "hero" refers to a person who noted for special achievement in a particular field, endowed with great courage and strength, celebrated for his bold exploits, and favored by the gods . Mother Teresa was full of enthusiasm and love, tenderness and kindness, courageousness and fearless; as she satisfied all the definition, and hence we could call her a hero. In this essay, I would examine all the factors that led Mother Teresa to become a hero. Mother Teresa was born in Skopje in a catholic family. She prayed every night and went to church every day when she was still a child. Her mother would take care of the poor and sick people in her town; whenever Mother Teresa was free, she would help the poor and sick as well. Also, Mother Teresa starts doing charitable work when she was nine years old. She once said that,.
We are not social workers or social assistants. We want to bring the joy and love of God to the people; we want to bring them God Himself, who gives them His love through us. At the same time we love God and show Him our love by serving Him in this people. There are a lot of institutions caring for sick. We do not want to be one among them. WE are not one or another organization of social service. We have to be more, to give more, we have to give ourselves. We have to bring Gods' love to the people by our service. And the poor people have thought us what it really means to love and to serve God - although our full understanding will only come after we died. .
Mother Teresa whole life has worked for god. When Mother Teresa grew up, she held lots of foundations which aimed to help the poorest. Moreover, Mother Teresa was full of enthusiasm and love. She helped to bring attention to the poor and she went to many of the poorest countries in the world and tried to rescue the poor. Besides, she went regularly to visits the hospitals, the slums and the people with disabilities.
