The VonTrapp Family

Sing for your life- A true Story of the VonTrapp family.
When a family is in trouble, they always have to stick together. That is what family is for. When a family with seven children is in trouble, it is just a little bit harder if you catch my drift This family didn't seem to have any trouble doing what they had to do, so let me tell you the story.
It all stars out with a young girl named Maria Agusta Kutschera. She was born on a train enroute to Vienna just before midnight on January 26, 1905. We are now going to jump to when Maria was about seventeen. She was on her way to a Bach concert when she accidentally walked into a crowded church. Drawn to the music, Maria stayed to listen to all of the wonderful stories and things that the people had to say about everyday life. That day was when she decided to serve her life as a nun, so that she could live her life around the wonderful world she was hearing about. The sense that she had something to believe in made her feel good. .
Over the years, Maria's health started to get bad. She was always feverish and tired. After numerous examinations by doctors, they finally came up with a conclusion that the reason Maria was so sick was from the lack of fresh air and exercise. This was what she did most before she came to the abbey, and to have it just taken away so fast made her system go crazy. The nuns in the convent all came to a decision that Maria must leave for ten months to go be a governess for the seven VonTrapp children. When she heard this she was upset, but she knew that, that was the way it had to be.
I might as well introduce you to the next character in this story; this would be Captain Georg Ritter VonTrapp. Georg being pronounced Gay-org not George just in case you wanted to know. After his first wife died, he and his seven children were left without a clue. Right away they decided that they would need another older female figure to keep things moving around.
