            Detectives and police walk into the Ramsey home where the Ramsey's six year old daughter, "a mini model," has been murdered; who else to suspect but the parents? There have been several people working on the case since December 1996 with no conclusion. The evidence that has been collected has favored many different suspects. Although, there is still some unknown person is at fault for this death. The murder of JonBenet is still an unsolved mystery, yet there are enough facts to prove her parents accountable for the death. .
             "At any rate, the family lived a life of near-perfect comfort and privilege" (Hewitt 41). John, her father, managed a successful computer company and was worth millions of dollars. Patsey, her mother, was an ex-beauty queen and helped throw magnificent parties and functions in their Colorado mansion. Furthermore, JonBenet followed the footsteps of her mother and became a beauty queen ever since she was capable of walking (Exposure 1). Though, the little girl's life was taken away at some moment during the night of Christmas Day. Around five o"clock in the morning on the 26 of December, Patsey Ramsey walked down the staircase to find at the foot of the stairs a three page ransom note. The letter stated that her daughter had been kidnapped and JonBenet would be returned if the parents paid the ransom of $118,000. "The letter warned that if the money was not delivered, the child would be beheaded" (Exposure 2). Supposedly, Patsey ran to JonBenet's room and then realized that her daughter was missing. She then dialed 911 and seven minutes after the phone call the police arrived at the Christmas decorated home (Exposure 2). Later that day, John went searching the house for signs of anything unusual (Exposure 3). "JonBenet, a lovely, child who had won the local Little Miss Christmas beauty pageant, was discovered dead in the basement of their home, with duct tape over her mouth and a cord twisted around her neck" (Hewitt 38).
