Look at the faces as you walk down the crowded halls of any college or university in the country. The majority of the students bettering their future today are going to be the new leaders of Canada tomorrow. They call us the roaring 20's as we defy labels, skip election days in fierce amounts, and abandon religion. The 20's however rebellious we may be are shaping new ideals on patriotism, racism, economic diversity, and freedom. How are the 20's broad way of thinking going to influence the way of life of Canadians in 5, 10, or 15 years? What's next to come?.
Soon the old fashioned ideals of this country will be replaced by more tolerant and well educated leaders promoting everything from cleaner environments to a more promised follow through of the Charter of Rights. Racism will no longer be a concern as studies have shown that the 20's living in Canada range from over 210 countries and inter-racial marriages are subsequently profound. While the 20's values are so greatly indistinguishable from the major values of the previous generation they will persevere more as time goes on and you won't even know what hit you.
Our trends as young Canadians will influence not only the clothes you wear but your attitude behind them. Going shopping will mean more than just buying clothes; it will mean creating a persona making more of an individual. Hair styles ranging from bald heads to pink and purple highlighted braids will appear more and more on the teachers of elementary schools, senators in office, and television news broadcasters. What Canadians do for leisure or fun will be based more on European influences. The nightlife will be effected by the electronic music revolution will break down the doors of nightclubs playing country and top 40. A new sense of style is emerging and will soon be completely socially acceptable. .
Canada has been called in the past the United States little brother.
