Fetal Pig


The bronchi splits the trachea into right and left lungs. The lungs in general are simple. The right lung has 4 lobes and the left has three lobes(pig). In humans the right lung has 3 lobes and the left has 2 lobes.
             The Cardiovascular system's main organ is the heart. The heart is made up of many tings. The ventricles pump blood out of the heart to the lungs and body. It is larger than the atrium. The atriums (cranial to the ventricles) differ in color and texture, they receive blood form the body and lungs and pass it to the ventricles. The coronary arteries supply the hear with blood and the vena cave brings deoxygenated blood to the right atrium. The pulmonary artery is located ventral to the pig. Blood leaves it from the right ventricle and channels the blood from there to the lungs. The brachiocephalic trunk carries blood to the right forelimb, upper body, brain and head. .
             Oral Cavity:.
             The main function of the oral cavity is move food to the digestive tract and to breathe. Food is prevented into the respiratory tract by the epiglottis which covers the glottis. The hard palate is at the roof of both the pigs and humans mouth. It separates the oral cavity from the nasal cavity. The soft palate allows mammals to breath and eat at the same time. .
             Abdominal Cavity:.
             The abdominal cavity is consits of the digestive system and parts of the circulatory system. .
             The digestive system is the system that's main functions is the nourishment to the body. The stomach located on the left side of the pig under the liver, it is a j-shaped sac that stores food and stomach acid; which breaks down the food. The small intestines contain what was once in the stomach. The liver is the largest organ in the abdominal cavity, it is brownish and produces bile, it also cleans up and helps in metabolize . The gallbladder which is not found in the pig, is located under the right lobe of the liver and it too produces bile and helps break down food.
