Is Hamlet a Changed Man in Act 5?

We now see a totally different side to Hamlet, after the murder of Polonius, as he shouts at his mother "as kill a King and marry with his brother- (page 171, line 30). He is confronting Gertrude and trying to make her admit things. Her reaction is that of surprise, however. "As kill a King?- (page 171, line 31). She also asks "what have I done?-, as she is genuinely completely oblivious to all he's accusing her of. After all, there is actually no hard evidence that she knows about the murder. But, did the relationship with Claudius start before old Hamlet's death?.
The part of the scene where Polonius is killed is surrealistic in nature. By killing Polonius, Hamlet has no defense about being sent to England. After the murder, both Hamlet and Gertrude ignore the body on the floor and continue their dialogue. "I will speak daggers to her, but use none" (page 161, line 394), is a key line for Hamlet, at the end of scene 2. While avoiding physical harm, he still plays mind games and accuses her of murder. Gertrude becomes very confused by this but possibly would have believed Hamlet if the ghost had not appeared'. In fact, the ghost also contributes to the surrealism of the scene because it can only be seen by Hamlet. This contrasts the first act where everyone can see the ghost. For the first time, the audience question whether Hamlet is hallucinating. As we see, even Gertrude is forced to lie to Hamlet to get him to leave her in peace.
Hamlet and other chief characters use many rank adjectives in their dialogue. For example, back in Act 3, Scene 4, the Closet Scene, Hamlet mentions "the ulcerous place-, as well as "sets a blister there-. Although other main characters come out with some important quotes of this genre, Hamlet's are particularly important because they emphasize the fact that he is supposed to be going mad.
Over the course of the play, we see Hamlet's thoughts and plans developing in his soliloquies.
