To Cram for a Test vs. Studying Earlier

In order to prepare for a test students have their own way of studying. Many cram the night before while others spend the upcoming week trying to gain all the knowledge needed. I think cramming for a test the night before helps me better than trying to memorize all the material in a day or two before.
Trying to study for a test or even an exam is never easy. Everyone has the procreation jitters for how you"re going to do on the test the next day. When cramming for the test, I usually find key words or specific chapters to concentrate on as opposed to other students who begin studying a day or two before, may read through the entire text, and remember nothing. This tactic doesn't help the students at all, and I"m the one that still remembers what I read about. .
Many students whether they cram for the test or spend more time preparing use some of the same strategies. I still use flashcards to help me memorize certain definitions, places, or whatever else I have trouble grasping on to. Reading out loud helps me to understand what I"m reading instead of simply reading the story fast and not being able to comprehend what I've read. Reading out loud also seems faster than reading quietly to me. Any student who is having a hard time remembering what they've read will probably read the story out loud. There are also other advantages to cramming to night before. For example, when It's time to review everything all the information is still fresh in my mind. While others have trouble remembering a chapter that was studied days ago because they've added so much more information since then, they are unable to answer review questions about that chapter.
The place you choose to study can have a negative or positive impact on how you will perform on the test. I have always chosen somewhere quiet without the disruption of the TV or people talking. I can usually find that security in my room. Opposed to those students who take extra days studying, I decide exactly what I"m going to study and for how long I"m going to spend on each subject.
