My Treaty of Versailles

            In order to have worldwide peace, be able to co-operate with each other as countries and never resort to such a war again we all agree to this Covenant of the League of Nations.
             Many meeting have taken place to make sure the each decision we make is thought through with careful consideration and that we all agree.
             Punishment.
             Article 1.
             First and foremost a decision on who caused the war had to be made. All the war declarations were traced back to their roots and most, if nearly all, came down to Germany or influences from Germany. What was noticed was that Germany was always trying to compete with other countries, which caused conflict. Also they were trying to gain importance that was never rightfully theirs and in doing so they had to try and defeat other countries to prove themselves better and have colonies to make themselves bigger, better and have stronger arms. Also when the heir to the Austrian throne (Arch Duke Ferdinand) was killed by a Serbian, Germany took it as an opportunity (excuse) to attack the Balkans. Therefore it has been decided that blame should be placed on Germany.
             Article 2.
             Germany should have to pay reparations for war damage and the amount decided is £2,000,000,000. This cost is a medium amount and has been set in order to pay for all the damage they caused when fighting and ruining land that did not belong to them. They also will have to pay for the money that other countries lost. The cost was set at a medium and what we consider an affordable amount so that they can pay for damage but yet not feel resentment and want to cause war again.
             Article 3.
             Due to the role Germany played in the World War we have decided to limit their armed forces. The decision that was finalised was to make their amount equal to Frances' armed forces. The reason this has been agreed especially by France is that Germany is bigger than France and so relatively in proportion to their population the French army will be bigger.
