How The Yellow Wallpaper Drives the Main Character Insane

How the Yellow Wall Paper Drives the Main Character Insane.
At the beginning of the story, the character seems fairly normal. She actually seems like a misunderstood wife of a doctor. The only thing that she finds wrong with the house is the ugly wallpaper. It's funny how a small annoyance like this could drive the woman insane.
In the beginning she is a normal woman recovering from nervous depression. She is just a little annoyed at the yellow wallpaper. Her husband seems to think that if he leaves her in the same setting by herself, it will somehow make her well. It has quite the opposite effect. It drives her into a deeper sickness the sickness of the mind. It just troubles her in the beginning as to why they would pick such an ugly color. She mentions just a little in her first entry. In her second entry however she enters how curious the pattern is that is on the wallpaper. It boggles her, and confuses her. But it is mentioned sparingly, not enough to take note of.
By her third entry she is taking note of the loops and swirls the pattern takes. That it is so very interesting to just sit and look at the pattern of the wallpaper. She explains it as like doing "gymnastics". This is creeping towards mind problems. Not many people take their time in watching and observing wallpaper. .
In her fourth entry she talks about shapes that are taking place "behind" the wallpaper. In her fifth entry she tries to feel the person behind the wallpaper. This is when we start to feel and hear, and see her crazy side. When she feels the wallpaper she is feeling for something that is trying to get out of it! Something trying to get out of wallpaper! .
She says that she has caught her maid, Jennie, and her husband, John, inspecting the wallpaper. One might wonder if this is just a figment of her imagination. If she just catches them in her room and she just imagines that they are obsessing over the wall paper.
