Harry Potter and the prisoner of Askaban


He soon discovers that Sirius Black is willing to kill him, because Harry was the cause of Voldemort's disappearance. On the train Harry and his friends share a compartment with the new subject teacher for Defence against the Dark Arts, Professor Lupin. Suddenly the train stops and a bunch of creatures called Dementors come onto the train to check the passengers. Dementors are Azkaban's guards. They suck all the happiness out of you and this makes most prisoners go mad. Harry discovers that he's very sensitive for the dark powers of Dementors when he fainted soon as one checked the compartment. It will give him some trouble, because soon after he has arrived at Hogwarts he hears that the Dementors are stationed around the school for extra protection. .
             In his third year Harry will get two new subjects. These are Divination and Care of Magical Creatures. During the first lesson of Divination Professor Trelawney predicts that Harry's death is nearby and during Care of Magical Creatures Draco Malfoy is attacked by a Hippogriff, because he insulted it. (Hippogriffs are magical creatures that have the bodies, hind legs and tails of horses, but the wings and heads of giant eagles) Draco's father has a lot of influence on the ministry of magic and the Hippogriff will be killed. This hurts the teacher Hagrid a lot, who's a very good friend of Harry's. Harry discovers that there's something going on with Hermione. She has taken all the available subjects and her timetable reads that she has to be in two lessons at the same time! She is not willing to tell anyone how she manages to follow all the lessons.
             On Halloween evening something terribly happens. After the yearly Halloween feast, when Harry went to the dormitories, they found out that Sirius Black had been there. Luckily for Harry Sirius had chosen the wrong moment for this, because everyone was in the Great Hall for the party. Later Sirius strikes again.
