Three Muskateers


             D'Artagnan leaves home planning on becoming a Musketeer. de Treville, the captain of the Musketeers and former friend and neighbor of his father, his Gascon spirit causes him to be caught in a duel while passing through Meung. He was left beaten by the man whom he had dueled with, and his father's note to M. de Treville was stolen as well. Set on seeking revenge from this man, D'Artagnan was only able to catch a glimpse of him speaking to a woman addressed as Milady' before the man left.
             2. Reaching Paris, D'Artagnan was finally able to meet M. de Treville. However, their meeting ended when D'Artagnan saw the man of Meung and rushed out of the M. de Treville's anteroom. During his angry pursuit, he bumps into three Musketeers. By the time D'Artagnan had given up on finding the man of Meung, he had already arranged to participate in three duels with the Three Inseparables that afternoon. However, before D'Artagnan could begin to duel against the Musketeers, they were interrupted by a group of the cardinal's guards who insisted on dueling against them. The three Musketeers, along with the assistance of D'Artagnan, won the duel, and D'Artagnan gained the companionship of the Three Inseparables.
             3. When D'Artagnan's mistress, Mms. Bonacieux, was abducted, he suspected the man of Meung of being the abductor. When he saw Milady, he was convinced that she was aware of Mme. Bonacieux's whereabouts. After a duel in which D'Artagnan spared the life of Lord de Winter, Milady's brother-in-law, he was presented with the chance to meet Milady in person. As their meetings became daily, every moment spent with Milady caused D'Artagnan to fall more in love with her. However, his fondness towards her turned into fear when Milady displayed a sudden outburst of violence towards D'Artagnan when revealed the fleur-de-lis on her shoulder.
             4. D'Artagnan and the three Musketeers warned Lord de Winter of Milady's violence and vengefulness.
