While growing up I have noticed many different things that annoy me. It bothers me when I am driving on a two-lane road and another car turns into the lane that I am driving in. I cannot stand it when someone puts in a CD and does not finish a song. It also makes me mad when someone revs up his or her engine regardless of which hour of the day it is.
I will be driving down a two-lane highway. I am the only car in the right lane and no body is in the left. All of a sudden a car makes a left turn onto the highway, directly across the left lane, right in front of me. Now I have to slow down and switch lanes just so I can pass this car. People wonder how "road rage" happens; well I am going to tell you it happens when someone like me can't take it any more.
Another pet peeve I have is when I am riding with one of my friends and they put in a CD, listen to half of the song, and proceed to change it to a different track. It makes me so annoyed but there is nothing I can do about it because the driver gets to choose the music. I can't see how you can feel complete after hearing half of a song. I always finish the song I"m listening to before I change tracks. Sometimes I even have to finish the song before I get out of the car.
One thing that has started to bother me recently is because I grew up away from the city. It is quiet at night and easy to fall asleep. Now I live in BLANK and I will be trying to fall asleep when somebody across the road will rev his engine as loud as he can before driving off. How can anyone fall asleep to that noise? More importantly, what kind of person is inconsiderate enough to do that?.
There are many little pet peeves that people have. Some of them are self-induced like the music one. If someone doesn't want to listen to a whole song I can't stop that.
