1. Remeber the Titans
A great movie is one that has memorable characters, an interesting setting and most of all a fantastic plot. I believe "Remember the Titans" fits the perfect description of a great movie. (With its wonderful variety of cast, 1970's setting. With a dramatic discrimination of racism plot.) This movie makes all my emotions come out throughout the movie.
"Remember the Titans" deals with a high school recently integrated. Remember The Titans shows how one football teams comes together and forgets about the world's problems racism. The team works together, as we watch we see the struggles from both the white and black teammates dealing with school, life, and the team coming together as one; not the black side and the white side, but as one team. .
The characters I believe made this movie my favorite. Denzel Washington plays Coach Boone, He was one of the main characters along with Will Patton who fit Coach Yoast perfectly. These two actors worked great together and have an immense chemistry as actors. Also, the football players all have different backgrounds, different problems, and different personalities. As a viewer I fell in love with each and every character for a different reason. Each character made the movie more emotional and interesting.
The 1970's era is such an interesting one. So much political problems where going on through out this era. The integration of schools was a big culture shock for both black and white students. It was interesting to see how the students, teachers, coaches, and the society related to the changing of times. Having this movie in a different time area than the one I have been alive in kept me very interested. I learned about there clothing styles, cars, and how it was 30 years ago. .

The plot of the movie is watching the Titans work together and become the 2nd best team in the nation. The team, which in the beginning of the movie, can't even be in the same room together without fighting, becomes so close that each one considers the other like a brother.
