Seperation of Laws on Adults and Juveniles

There is a reason why we have the two words adult and juvenile. They separate two different types of people. Both can be considered to be similar but also completely different in some aspects. An adult has enough freedom to do whatever he or she pleases, such as, having the right to live by themselves, go to work, or go wherever they would want to go. Adults also have more knowledge about life, and have had much more experience in life. The youth on the other hand faces problems in his or her life for the very first time, and does not have the experience to help him through it all, but they always have room for growth. The youth have changed from what it was like in the past. Even if someone can always learn, taking a life away stays with you forever and is an experience that would cost the killers life also.
Should juveniles be tried as adults? This question has come about American society for years and we still haven't come upon a logical reasoning to deal with it yet. Personally, I believe that juveniles that commit crimes that deal with high amounts of violence, and murder should be tried as adults. If they were capable of plotting and committing an adult crime then they are capable of being just as dangerous as adults. They should be tried as an adult for the fact that if they are conscious enough to know how to kill someone at that age, they should be smart enough to know the consequences. I went through a variety of sources supporting them to be tried as adults and some not supporting the idea. Many argue that they don't deserve that punishment, but if you look at the numbers of growing juvenile crimes within the past, the numbers have only grown, and we need to take a step up from what we are doing. If we don't want these horrible crimes to be committed in the future we can't be so easy on the juveniles, and give them such an easy sentence for a crime such as murder. When we look at strict facts juveniles are the only group in the U.
