             her dialogues to her sister Ismene when she stated -I will bury him myself. And .
             even if I die in the act, that death will be glory. I will lie with the one I love and .
             loved by him-- (63 85-87). Antigone remained loyal to her plan because of her .
             strong will and bravery even though captured by the King. She did not deny her .
             actions as she proved so by saying -I did it. I don't deny a thing."" (81 492). .

             Despite the different approaches to their goals, both heroines boldly .
             accomplished what they set out to do. Both heroines took colossal risks to .
             succeed. Both Lysistrata and Antigone had to conquer not only their own group .
             of females but also an even more challenging task of surmounting the males. .
             Lysistrata banished all concern of men. She got the women to work together .
             and have men walking around filthy, famished, and with erections. The women .
             understood the ingredients to success, they knew their -way to salvation in just .
             such ornamentation- in slippers and slips, rouge and perfumes, negligees and .
