Dublin Internship Program Opportunity

Lately I have been thinking in depth about bringing a purpose into my life. I have been thinking about my own interests, passions, and goals, and trying to find a way that I can satisfy all of these things. I've been studying international affairs for the past three semesters at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I've learned a great deal and feel fortunate to be apart of the amazing community there, but lately I've felt as if it is not the path I need to be on if I am going to ultimately be happy with my works and career later on. Roughly a month ago I came into contact with Dr. Gunter Seefeldt. I was educated on the ICE program through a friend who had participated in a similar program. I did not hesitate to call after researching all of the programs ICE offered students looking to travel. I thought this would be an excellent program to further not only a formal education but a world education. Little did I know Dr. Seefeldt would offer me even more than I had expected.
             .
The first time we spoke, I expressed interest in a few English teaching programs in Europe. I had little experience in the field of actually teaching English, but I was attracted to learning a new skill and being able to help those who wanted to learn. Dr. Seefeldt informed me of a few other similar programs and gave me the choice of choosing. I have to admit, I was skeptical. I wasn't sure if these particular programs were a direct fit for me in my time of unclear direction, so the thought of diverting off my current curriculum scared me. It wasn't until the second time we spoke that I was immediately convinced that this program was in fact perfect for me.
             .
I called Dr. Seefeldt back a day later to inquire further on the programs. It was as if he almost sensed the hesitance in my voice. After discussing a few of my interests he recommended the internship at NMTC in Dublin. My mouth quickly curled into a smile as he informed me of the school and what they offered.
