Amrican Business and Outsourcing Jobs

In a society considered to be one of the richest nations in the world, companies are outsourcing jobs to other countries in order to make a greater profit. Because other countries employees are willing to work at lower wages then Americans, companies within the United States outsource the manufacturing of products to other countries. All the while people in the United States are suffering from the lack of jobs available. Outsourcing jobs in order to make a greater profit actually ends up hurting United States companies because outsourcing leads to a trade deficit. Money from the United States leaves the country and enters foreign economies instead of going into the pockets of citizens. Instead of our nation creating jobs through manufacturing, our nation exports services, which does not incorporate as many jobs. But outsourcing now a days is not limited to just manufacturing jobs. Upper technology specific and engineering jobs are now being outsourced also because of the lack of technically qualified people. As a result this leads to further inflation and complications within our system. Businesses are then hurt because the middle class and lower classes are unable to buy the products these companies produce. The lower classes do not have enough money to consume many products because the jobs available do not provide enough income for spending outside the basis of living. Due to the quick fix of outsourcing, we are making the rich richer and the poor poorer. Our middle class is disappearing and in an effort to reduce costs, companies are hurting the portion of the population that drives consumerism and therefore hurting their own business. .
The consequences of America's innovation-only policy run far deeper than simply trade deficits. The wholesale transfer of production offshore also has weakened the nation's job-creation engine, crippled its ability to bounce back from recession and seriously eroded not only middle-class prosperity but our ability to invent the products and medical advances of tomorrow.
