The Tudors

            Physically, Queen Elizabeth the first was in a good condition. She had red hair, a slim figure (but the dresses didn't make it look like it) and green eyes. She always made herself look presentable.
             When Elizabeth Came to the throne there were quite a few problems. First there was the rebellion. The rebellion of peasants and nobles alike. Some claimed her illegitimate, other fought because she was protestant. The rebellion was quickly ended after many attempts on her life.
             The second one was the Spanish Armada. This was when Philip II attacked England on the quest to conquer. The Spanish at the time was the world super power, because it was rich, unlike England at the time with was poor. The Spanish fleet finally made it to the English Channel to be scared off by English fire ships in bad weather. .
             Elizabeth was known as the virgin queen for a reason. It was like a duty to marry a suitable ruler for the country, and supply a heir to the throne. This Elizabeth did not do, Earning her the reputation the "Virgin".
             Elizabeth reign was known the golden age for many reasons. One of the was when Elizabeth came to the throne, the country was poor. It lack money and money is need for everything. Another point is that England grew VERY powerful under Elizabeth reign. They conquered countries and fought of invaders. New discoveries made and explorations were put into action. England became the superpower of the world.
