County Retail Sales are estimates of sales that have occurred in the county. Estimates are made based on sales tax receipt information provided by the Illinois Department of Revenue. The estimates are unadjusted. .

County Unemployment Rates show the percentage of the labor force (defined as those employed plus those looking for employment) in each of Illinois' 102 counties. The rates are not seasonally adjusted, so they are subject to predicatable seasonal variations. .
Direct Exports - Exporter Location (EL) Series .
Information on U.S. Exports of merchandise are compiled on a transaction basis from the Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) or its electronic equivalent as filed by qualified exporters, forwarders, or carriers. These data measure the physical movement of merchandise out of the U.S. to foreign countries. The EL series was designed to provide export statistics based on the addresses of the exporter, the party in the US that receives the primary benefit monetary or otherwise, from the shipment. Effective January 2003, the EL series is being discontinued. .

Information on U.S. Exports of merchandise are compiled on a transaction basis from the Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) or its electronic equivalent as filed by qualified exporters, forwarders, or carriers. These data measure the physical movement of merchandise out of the U.S. to foreign countries. The OM series provides export statistics based on the state from which the merchandise starts its journey to the port of export; that is, the data reflect the transportation origin of exports. .
