Ethical hacking and defenses against unethical hacking and other computer and network intrusions are discussed. With this student learns how to increase systems security, how to prevent systems from phishing attacks, malware attacks and almost all other types of attacks. The students learn about the ethical hacking and how to prevent one from hacking. The students learn about how to use strong passwords and how to protect their online IDs so that these are easy and safe to use these IDs. .
1.3 Project Management Plan.
The project work was executed in two phases so that in the first phase, the discussions, decisions, topics and contents is decided and in the second phase, all these ideas are implemented to improve the content of the labs and assignments of the security course. .
Phase 1.
Consulting security specialists- Firstly we consulted the security specialists about the latest techniques, software or threats that have emerged in the market. We also asked them that where we can find this matter and which of these equipments work and which can be inappropriate. We learned a lot from this experience, and it also helped us a lot in our proposal as got to know many things that we can add in our course material.
Consulting Academically.
Our next step, was to consult the academicians. We did much research on which things we should take into consideration and which things we should leave, which things are important and which are unimportant, and we also kept in mind the cost effectiveness of the course material and the updation of the labs. Learning about the latest security issues and techniques. After consulting the experts and the academicians, we narrowed down our material and studied in detail the latest security issues and techniques. We got a lot of new techniques and threats, and we narrowed down to the final material which should be added to course material dependant on numerous things such as how much cost it would take to implement it in the lab, how much helpful it will be for the students and a lot of other things.
